Lucy also had her very first playdate today with Hans and Kaitlin, and their dog Mona! At first, Mona wasn't too thrilled to be introduced to Lucy, but after a bit of exploring and some hot dog treats, Lucy and Mona became fast friends. It was funny to see that Lucy is definitely the submissive dog in the pack, because every time she went up to Mona in the beginning, she would roll over and expose her tummy to Mona. I'm actually pretty happy that Lucy's taken on a submissive role, because hopefully that means that she'll be less likely to instigate any fights! Unfortunately, my camera was out of batteries when they all came over, so I didn't get any photos of our little girl's first playdate :( New goal- always make sure the batteries are charged!
